How to use the sheet
Print only the pages you need.
Pick the message. Write the wording out and note each character’s page number. The PDF puts one true-size flag on each page, so the print dialog page range lets you print only the letters and punctuation you need.
Print at 100%. Choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so every flag comes out the same width and the letters line up on the string.
Cut and hang. Cut on the dashed 0.25 pt outline, punch the two marked holes and thread string through the back. Leave a small gap between letters so the line curves.
Mix with the geometric set. The flags use the same outline, motif row and hanging holes as the released birthday banner.

What is on the alphabet sheet?
A to Z, 0 to 9, ampersand, exclamation and question marks, period, comma, apostrophe, hyphen and a blank flag. Each page holds one true-size 5 × 7 flag.
Can I spell a name or an age?
That is what the sheet is for. HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY, a first name, a nickname, a team, anything that fits the wall.
Do the letters match the ready-made banners?
Yes. Same pennant shape, same 0.25 pt cut line and same hanging holes as the printable happy birthday banner, so a custom word can join a ready-made set.
What paper works best?
Regular 90–120 gsm paper is enough for a light banner. Matte 160–200 gsm cardstock gives flags that hang flat and last through the party.
